Terms of Use

This page is a translation of the French version, which prevails in case of discrepancy.

These terms govern the use of the SudoKoum application and its Premium subscription. They complement the terms of Apple or Google, which apply to every purchase made on their app store.

2.The game without a subscription

SudoKoum can be installed and played without a subscription. This base game serves as a trial and contains no advertising.

What the base game includes

• solo Sudoku on Easy and Medium, without limits
• the daily quest, played on Hard
• 2 challenges started on Easy or Medium, each sent to one or more friends
• 2 received challenges played, at any difficulty
• progression up to level 3 and 5 visible achievements.

The two challenge quotas apply once per device and do not refill.

3.What Premium includes

• every difficulty, Hard right away, Expert and Extreme at levels 4 and 5
• unlimited challenges, rematches included
• profile progression with no cap
• all 100 achievements
• all statistics.

Premium may gain new features. No advertising appears, with or without a subscription.

4.Plans and prices

Premium comes in two plans, monthly at €1.99 a month or yearly at €17.99 a year (that is €1.50 a month). These prices include all taxes for France. In other countries, Apple or Google sets the price in your currency and shows it in the App Store or Google Play before purchase. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.

5.Automatic renewal

The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it before the end of the current period. The renewal is charged at the price in effect. If the price goes up, Apple or Google notifies you before it applies and asks for your consent in the cases set by its rules.

6.Cancellation

You can cancel whenever you like in your iPhone Settings (your name, then Subscriptions) or in the Google Play app (Subscriptions page). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and Premium stays active until then. Deleting the app or your SudoKoum account does not cancel the subscription.

7.After the subscription ends

The Premium features lock. Premium achievements and detailed statistics are hidden, while still being recorded. You keep playing without a subscription (§2). If you subscribe again, you get everything back, up to date.

8.Refunds

Payments go through Apple or Google. Refund requests and the exercise of the right of withdrawal are made with them, under their own terms.

9.Platforms and sharing

Premium is tied to the App Store or Google Play account that subscribed to it. A subscription taken on iPhone or iPad does not activate on Android, or the other way round. Apple Family Sharing does not apply to Premium. On a new device of the same platform, the app's "Restore purchases" button brings it back.

10.Personal data

The data SudoKoum processes is described in the privacy policy.

11.Changes

We may update these terms. In the event of a significant change, we will indicate it in the app or on this page. The date at the top of the document reflects the latest version.

12.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. For any complaint, please write first to the address in §1.
